OVERVIEW  GK Reid is a purpose-driven producer of films, videos, commercials, photos and events, and as a regenerative designer. Focused on shifting global consciousness to ecosystems regeneration, he is described as “A Renaissance man” (Soma), for his multifaceted collaborative approach across films, marketing, events, design, music, fashion, and social justice advocacy. His work has raised over 2 billion impressions for nonprofits such as Keep A Child Alive, the American Cancer Society, Nanhi Kali, and the Science Summit at the United Nations: Digital Democracy for Climate Action. As the Chief Operating Officer of Shakti Regeneration Institute, and Chief Communications Officer at Open Origin, he combines his humanitarian work with practical solutions and movements to empower Indigenous and marginalized people worldwide.

The son of a Curandera and Ayurvedic healer, GK was raised between an artists community in New Mexico, sword-fighting, and serving thousands daily at the Golden Temple in Amritsar, India. Immigrating into London's club culture, Isabella Blow inspired GK’s creative explorations, and his first commissions by David Bowie and Iman launched his powerful artist collaborations.

GK is best known for his collaborations with artists such as Bowie, Rihanna, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Kim Kardashian. His work has been recognized with numerous awards and museum exhibitions worldwide. Works GK produced have won 42 awards including two Gold Lions at Cannes, The Tribeca Film Festival Disruptor Award, Best Picture at the CNN Expose Awards, Best Picture and Best Fashion Design at both the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego's La Jolla Fashion Film Festival. His work has been featured on NOWNESS, SHOWstudioLincoln Center NYCenter Pompidou Paris, The Brooklyn Museum, The Museum of the Fashion Institute NY, The Rubin Museum of Art, the Daphne Guinness exhibition in the windows of Barney's NY, and The Australian Museum of the Moving Image.

SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EQUALITY    GK works passionately for social justice and equality. His Digital Death against AIDS in Africa, starring Kim Kardashian, Usher, Serena Williams, Jaden and Willow Smith in coffins, raised much awareness  and 3.5 million dollars in just a few weeks for AIDS in Africa for Keep A Child Alive. His Girl Epidemic against trafficking of girls in Asia, won the Best Film Award at CNN's Expose awards, presented by Quincy Jones, with Project Nanhi Kali. He produced Girl Rising India, with Freida Pinto, Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt, in collaboration with women weavers' collectives in Bengal, which became central to the Indian government's Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign for girls' empowerment. His Reunited, shot in Ukraine and starring Edi Gathegi (House, X-Men, Startup) and Reeve Carney (Gucci, Spiderman) against domestic violence worldwide, aims to reform laws for survivors at the Hague.
